Please read “Ten Ways To Think About Writing: Metaphoric Musings for College Writing Students“ at least twice, taking notes as you read.
For Blog Entry #4, select five of the metaphors in Reid’s essay that resonate most with you. These should be metaphors that speak to challenges you’ve faced as a writer and/or touch on specific experiences you’ve had in writing (in or outside of school). Write one paragraph about each metaphor. Your paragraph should convey your understanding of that particular metaphor as well as what it means to you. Include specific stories/examples from your own experience as a writer.
Your entry should include a relevant image.
