Your draft should integrate sources in MLA format (meaning that you’ll have in text parenthetical citations for any information from another source that is quoted or paraphrased in your essay). At the end of your draft, compose a Works Cited for any material you cite in your paper.
Your Works Cited, unlike your Annotated Bibliography, will only include sources you actually use in your essay. While you do not need to use all the sources that were in your Annotated Bibliography, you should include a variety from across the various disciplines you investigated.
The goal of this essay is to share what you have learned by exploring your problem/issue through the various disciplinary lenses you investigated. What potential solutions presented themselves as you examined your topic through this interdisciplinary approach?
Successful essays will convey a thoughtful, thorough exploration of the topic; integrate rich details and examples/illustrations, including those from research; and effectively incorporate (and cite) relevant images.
