For Blog Entry #1, you will draw upon what you learned in “Backpacks vs. Briefcases” to conduct a rhetorical analysis of a text of your choice. This can be a text from another class or something from your personal reading, but it should be something that is trying to persuade the reader/audience in some way. Make sure it’s a text that lends itself to an interesting, insightful rhetorical analysis. your Blog Entry should be about 500 words in length, include specific details, examples, and illustrations from both texts, and include a relevant image.
Your image and texts must be properly cited (with in-text parenthetical citations as well as a Works Cited). See MLA format for one reading below.
